John and I both happen to have Blackberries.  I have heard that the other name for these devices is “Crackberry,” because you basically become an addict.  That’s ok with me!  Mine is an 8110, and it is really sweet (although typing in stuff is difficult). 

I especially love being able to go on the Internet.  In my surfing, I ran across some cool sites for Blackberry users.  Here they are:

www.pinstack.com: this site is a bit difficult to navigate at first.  However, it is chock full of great information, and stuff related to every version of blackberry.  Plus access to free games, free ringtones, etc.  Well worth the time. 

www.crackberry.com:  I like this website more visually that pinstack.  It has articles and the like with more pictures, and seems easier to navigate right out of the gate. 

www.blackberrycool.com:  This site has slightly different articles about Blackberry related stuff.  

www.blackberry.com:  This is the official site, of course.  Believe it or not, it has cool how-to guides, interactive demos, and handy tips on it.  You just have to know where to look.  (Support, bottom of page)

I had a new person register today and normally I don’t really bother with seeing who they are or checking them out, but the domain name caught my eye. It was Dot from ChicksDigGames.com and I have to say…I really like the site. It’s almost as amazing as mine (yeah, I’m biased.)

Okay, so Popscribe is probably my bigger passion in the blog world but I’m a gamer too dammit!

Anyway so I wanted to encourage people to check it out Dot’s site even before she asked me to say that. See? I’m like saying that all on my own so you know it must be good. Also have a look at her blog for some excellent reading. The story of Game Stop Girl is priceless.

How does this level end? With you visiting their site and me finding a special gun in Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 that allows me complete domination of all my enemies. Okay…that last part I made up, but you can visit Dot’s site. That part was real.

I’m not sure when NASA redesigned their website, but I like it. It’s definitely an improvement from their last site.

A new online network launches today for Apple followers. The Digitalifestyle (www.thedigitallifestyle.tv) mixes original programs along with
popular Apple/tech-related podcasts, and YouTube material, as well as daily news updates and live coverage of breaking tech news events.

“Imagine if you could watch a 24-hour TV network dedicated to Apple news, rumors, and lifestyle. We’ve created that experience online,” said founder Ryan Ritchey. Podcasts coming to the lineup include “CommandN” with Amber Mac, and Mogan Webb’s “Webb Alert.”

Utilizing live video technology from Mogulus, viewers are able to watch live broadcasts, as well as participate by submitting their own video
segments. Original shows on the network include “Root Access,” a weekly live tech help show with a former “Mac Genius,” and “Gary’s Garage,”  a look at Apple and other company’s products of days gone by.

“We want this network to bring the benefits and pitfalls of living the Digital Lifestyle to light, while engaging and interacting with the
audience in a new way,” Ritchey said

I’ve checked out the site and it’s very cool. They’ve got a show with a Mac Genius in case you’ve ever wanted to ask a question, but were afraid to. How could you go wrong with Morgan Webb and a dedicated show for the iPhone. Yummy!

Speaking at the NewTeeVee conference yesterday, YouTube co-founder Steve Chen confirmed that YouTube was testing HD video but qualified the statement by stating that YouTube is primarily focused on providing content to everyone, which doesn’t necessarily facilitate a HD product.

Chen spoke on the difficulties on providing a watchable HD product to many, including buffering times that don’t drive viewers away. Chen told CNet that the first HD content on YouTube should be available within 3 months.
