I’ll admit it. I’ve never been a huge Lara Croft fan. I watched the movies and like them, but I’ve never played any of the video games. Now there’s a new Lara Croft, Alison Carroll, who will appear at promotions and conferences as the game/movie character and I’m sure there’s plenty of fans that want to know more about her. The big news? She’s a gymnast.

Miss Carroll has represented Great Britain as a professional display gymnast, and has performed in front of Prince Charles.

She is also a coach for younger gymnasts and recently choreographed the routine for the junior team that won the British National Championships.

Miss Carroll, who beat hundreds of others to be Lara Croft, has now left her day job as a receptionist to start on a gruelling training regime.

Olivia Munn is on Attack of the Show! on the G4 channel and haven’t seen it, Attack of the Show! focuses on technology, gaming, music, current events, pop-culture, movies, relationship advice, and comic book news. It has segments where viewers can call, chat or e-mail questions which get answered live. Olivia attended the premiere of Semi-Pro and showed everyone her incredible cleavage. Many of you gamers haven’t seen something like this before, but in game terms she gets an automatic crit every time you look at her chest. Game over!

A Frenchman, Jean-Yves Blondeau, has invented a rollerblade suit with 31 wheels on it.  A girl I am aquainted with is actually learning to use this suit from Jean-Yves for her upcoming stunt role in a new Jim Carrey movie.

According to Gametart (UK game rental service), women who play video games have sex more often. That’s super news for video gamers everywhere.

Gametart did an interview consisting of 200 women and found that women who played games had sex 4.3 times per week, while their non-gaming sisters only had sex 3.2 times per week.

The extra plus is the tit-bit that women who had only recently started playing games said they now had sex more often then before. Now how’s that for promise? All you need to do is get your lady playing games and you’re in!
