Zerochroma has great new cases available now. They sent me two cases to check out so I could write this article, and boy are they impressive. In fact, they are unlike any cases I have seen so far. As you can see from the pictures, they double as stands. Each has an leg of sorts that can swivel out and also rotates in a full circle.
Having a stand is a pretty cool idea.
These cases are pretty burly. Each is made of hard plastic with rubber edges, and the stand doesn’t look or feel like it would break easily. I spent about ten minutes opening and closing the iPhone case, putting quite a bit more pressure than most users would on it, and it withstood the pressure.
Zerochroma cases are great for teleconferences and also for watching movies or TV shows on your device of choice. Whenever I take a break at the office and it is too cold to go walking, I like to use my phone to check the news or watch some movies on netflix. I always have to hold the phone at just the right angle. With this stand, I wouldn’t have to.
You will still have to get a screen protector for your device, but the rest of it should be taken care of by the Zerochroma.
There are tons of possibilities for these cases, and they would make a great gift for a geek. There are different cases for iPhone 4, iPhone 3/3GS, iPod Touch 3rd Generation, Kindle II, iPad, iPod Touch. Plus, they will soon be offering cases for Galaxy Tab, Kindle III (!!!!) and iPod Touch 4 Generation.
Come on… you know you want one. Here is the link to their site. Check them out! http://zerochroma.com/index_standard.php
