Man Steals Laptop So He Can Check Facebook

I’m not making this up.  Some idiot in a Starbucks wanted to check his facebook account so badly that he grabbed a customer’s laptop and tried to escape with it.  From MSN:

“Two people in the parking lot tackled the man and held him there until a mall security guard arrived.

The victim got his laptop back and the man was charged Saturday with robbery by sudden snatching, a felony.”

Well, I learned something new today: I never realized there even was a “robbery by sudden snatching.”  This makes me wonder if there is also a “robbery by slowly snatching.” Something to think about.
