I Wish I Had The Digital Movie Creator 2.0 When I Was A Kid

videocameraWhen I was a kid, we had this old 8mm ( I think), color video camera that didn’t have sound.  I used it to make lots of movies.  Most of my movies were stop animation affairs using my star wars action figures and the one or two Transformers I also owned.  I’m going to be brutally honest here, and it hurts:  the movies sucked.

I sure wish I had the Digital Movie Creator 2.0 back then.  Maybe things would have been different.  This baby is pretty cool looking.  According to the website,it shoots 4 minutes worth of video away from the computer, but unlimited if it is attached.  That doesn’t seem like much time when it is unplugged.  However, four minutes is a long time when you are a kid, and the camera includes some sweet editing software.  I sure wish I had that back then, too.  No more splicing for your kids!

The software included will allow your kid to edit, and add titles, credits, and special effects, among other things.  Pretty sweet for $89.99.

I’m sure you can find the The Digital Movie Creator 2.0 in a variety of stores.  I found it on Amazon.  Most of the reviews are favorable.
