Circuit City To Close all US Stores

Circuit City has announced that it will close all its US Stores. It will be laying off 34,000 associates. This is a huge blow. All product will be liquidated, and Circuit City will be gone by the end of March.

If you have a gift card from the retailer, don’t worry: you can still use it until the final day Circuit City is in business, according to their website. If you have an extended warranty, it will also be covered by a third party company.

All operations will continue in Canada, however.
