Activision has finally mentioned the words that so many were dying to hear…Infinity Ward is making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The sixth CoD game was already confirmed to be under Infinity Ward’s wing (and not Call of Duty: World at War developer Treyarch), and this news will be like candy for the idiot masses to start talking about how this new game will be the greatest game of all time, etc.

Of course people bragged up CoD: WaW  as the best game of all time and those same people now spent hours on the internet claiming the game is horrible, Treyarch sucks, and generally whining like babies. Well I have CoD: WaW and I think it’s great. Works better than CoD4 in my opinion and is more fun because of the extra guns, weapon options, and perks. Oh well…

No details on the new game were released, though it’s roughly dated for release in 3rd Quarter 2009.
