Even though I am a guy, I am seriously considering checking out myLifetime, and their games for women site. You remember Lifetime, right? The same company as the Lifetime Network for Women on TV.
According to Stephanie, one of their PR people, who seems very nice with her form letters, nearly one million people visit the site monthly. Apparently, it is one of the web’s top 25 online game destinations.
I’m not sure my wife is interested, however. She said the interface looks too “girly.”
Still, a million women can’t be wrong.
There are a ton of games on the site already, and things are going to get even better. Starting in August, visitors will have access to Lifetime’s new “Brain Games” channel.
From Stephanie:
Award-winning neuropsychologist, Dr. Paul Nussbaum, an adjunct Associate Professor in Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, designed the fun and casual games found on Fit Brains with the help of the professional game designers at Vivity Labs. Fit Brains’ games are proven to enhance brain performance while targeting the five major cognitive brain functions – memory, concentration, language, executive functions (logic and reasoning), and visual-spatial skills.
Research has shown that the brain begins to slow down as early as age 25 but with regular brain exercise, it can create new neural connections and pathways at any age. Fit Brains’ games are tightly integrated with a suite of personalization tools that provide each individual with feedback and brain metrics to track performance and progress, so trainees can see the benefits of their playtime.
Playing games and giving your brain a workout! What a cool idea.

Personally I think this website is really dumb. Who wants to spend time arranging fake flowers? Plus the makeover thing is silly. I don’t know how to download pictures off my digital camera so how I going to get it on the website. If I admit that to my husband he will just make fun of me. I guess I am not enough of a geek.
