The Final Email from My XBOX360

As you long time readers may know, I have been getting emails from my XBOX360 while it has been in McAllen, Tx, being repaired. I wanted to share with all of you the final email I got from my XBOX360. It is with mixed feelings I post this email.

Hi Dad.
I’ve met someone.

One night, Boot Knife and I slipped under the barbed wire fences, past the guard dogs, and the gun towers, and into McAllen, Texas. The town’s not bad, really. It has a great bar, for one thing. Um, that’s about all I saw before Warden came after me. But not before I met her.

The bar, I forget the name, had a single occupant, a PS3. She was hot. What a graphics processor! She said she’s not the type to play games, but loves a good movie. Whatever. Long story short, I am eloping.

I don’t think we’ll see each other again. But, hey, we’ll always have Gears of War together. Maybe I’ll see your gamer tag online sometime. We’ll chat.

Well, that’s about it. Unfortunately, I was never able to tell him that he wasn’t the only one to meet a PS3….
