Max Might Be A Liar: Calling Microsoft about my XBOX360

I called Max just now, to see how my Xbox 360 is doing. After a friendly greeting, in which he told me they were experiencing a high level of calls and my wait might be forever, he informed me “your Xbox has been received and is being repaired.”
Now, I’ll hesitate at this point to call Max a liar. However, I’m thinking he might be stretching the truth a bit. I called a week ago, and he said the exact same thing. I’ve called a couple of times this week at varying times, and he always tells me my own personal Xbox is being repaired right now. How can that be? Either the repairs are so extensive and delicate that they require a team of specialists working in 24 hour shifts, or Max is fibbing. Either way, I’m not playing Halo3 right now, and it’s starting to make me angry.
So, want another cool fact about McAllen, Texas? You can get a house with a pool for a measly $675,000 there.
Not so cool, huh? Guess what: it’s 8050 square feet! Unfortunately, the house is ugly as sin, but the pool is awesome looking.
You can view it here. This house and the land it sits on would cost at least a Billion dollars in Seattle.

I too call every so often to get an update from Max. When I first called, I think there was a glitch with my order because I hadn’t sent the system yet, but it said that my xbox repair and had been complete and it should be back to me within 3 to 4 days. But now that they actually have my XBOX 360, I get the message that it has been received and its being repaired. Well, I am hoping to hear that automated “completed” message again.
My 360 is probably plopped right next to yours on a shelf labelled “To be repaired.” Once its been repaired they probably play Halo 3 on it to see if it works properly (damn them). Well, I have my copy of Halo 3 still sealed sitting on the shelf.
I’m throwing my 360 a welcome party by buying it a couple new games when it returns. I’ve waited this long, I may not crack open Halo 3 right away and finish Bioshock instead.

Maybe if you sleep with your halo 3 game under your pillow, the microsoft fairy will repair and ship your XBOX back faster.
