Apple’s iPhone rumored to suck

That’s what noted tech pundit John C. Dvorak is saying. His latest article says he’s got insider information that claims the iPhone’s keyboard is flawed.

So here is the latest I’ve heard, and it comes from yet another industry insider.

I got a call last night. “I think it’s time to sell Apple short,” said the voice.

“I think that’s premature,” I responded. “What have you heard?”

“The keyboard is a disaster, and people are going to return the phone in droves. I’m guessing 20% will go back.

Twenty percent return is pretty bad indeed, but will it be so bad or are these just rumors?

Let’s face it though. Most people would really buy the iPhone because it’s got an iPod, a phone, mapping software, and a host of other features. The utility belt is about to get smaller. Not only that…it’s going to be the trendy thing to have

I think I’ll wait to see how the reviews will be after it comes out though. I won’t be rushing to the stores.

    I’ve been hearing quite a lot of negative things about the iPhone in addition to this one – such as the SIM card is ‘welded’ to the phone, the touch screen is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough and some other stuff. But I will admit that when this hits the stores, I’ll have to check it out.

    BTW, lovin’ the new blog – err, blogs…

    Yeah, I’ve been hearing a lot too. The battery is like an iPod and I’ve heard if you use it a lot you could need a mid-day recharge. That kind of sucks. Still though, i’ll check it out too although I didn’t realize it’s going to be like $600. Yikes!
    The blogs are very enjoyable. Much better ways to categorize things and i love the layouts and colors. Overall, I’m very happy with it.
