Look what I found today. Very cool!

Researchers at MIT and Hong Kong University have come up with a liquid that can seal wounds in seconds. Composed of peptides (fragments of proteins), the liquid forms a gel when applied to an open wound, quickly stemming the flow of any blood. And there’s no need to worry about removing the gel, since it breaks down into amino acids as the wound heals, aiding tissue repair.

SciFi.com – Liquid bandage stops bleeding instantly

And to add my own little tip for you. If you’re cut, bleeding, and it just doesn’t want to stop…go for the sugar bowl. It helps coagulates the blood faster and stops the flow. It’s an old farmer’s trick I learned when I was a kid and I’ve used it many times.

Next time, try it and then remember how Zedd saved your life.
