That’s right. A true cover-up has been revealed by the Freedom of Information Act in the United Kingdom, but it’s not quite what you might think. It seems that the government was very, very interested in UFOs but covered up how much interest in the subject they really had.

The Ministry of Defence went to extraordinary lengths to cover up its true involvement in investigating UFOs, according to secret documents revealed under the Freedom of Information Act.

The files show that officials attempted to expunge information from documents released to the Public Records Office under the “30-year rule” that would have revealed the extent of the MoD’s interest in UFO sightings.

This is pretty important because it shows that the UK government took the subject of UFO very seriously. So serious, that they went to extreme lengths to hide their interest. They had a secret unit that did the investigations and didn’t want the public to ever know about them.

“These documents don’t tell us anything about UFOs but they do show how desperate the MoD have been to conceal the interest which the intelligence services had in the subject,” said Dr Clarke.

Oh yeah, and didn’t they tell you? YOU’RE the crazy one for believeing in UFOs. Isn’t that what the official government stance has been for years and years in many countries? UFOs don’t exist and people that see them are hoaxes and frauds?

If all the above is true…they why did they hide it so much?
